I figured I'd post this brief Synopsis thingy that was on a Post Card thingy mabober that I got each time I saw RENT: Filmed Live On Broadway (which was only twice because it was that amazing and nothing beats Contact and seeing Willy J. in a kilt in HD speaking of which WTF was he wearing a kilt for?!) Anyway here it is:
Set in New York City's gritty East Village. The revolutionary rock opera RENT tell the story of a group of Bohemians struggling to to live and pay their rent. "Measuring their lives in love," these starving artists strive for success and acceptance while enduring the obstacles of poverty, illness and the AIDS epidemic. RENT is Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer and Tony Award winning Musical, one of those longest running shows on Broadway.
